Cameras. Whether they film or take photographs, they have always been a source of fascination for me. There are videos of myself as a child trying to recite poems where I kept pausing because I wanted to know what the red tally light meant.

I then won a 35mm film point & shoot plastic Kodak KB 10 in a croissant giveaway. That was my joy for a few years.

In high school I discovered what being on the other end of the lens meant and I pursued acting, earning a BA Diploma in Bucharest and an MA Diploma in London, where I am currently based. However, in 2019 my iPhone became my way of exploring the world through a lens again and I stared taking photography seriously, learning from my peers and from those who came before.

Between my Kodak and my Sony ɑ7R V I came to believe that there is no subject more important than nature and through my landscape photography I hope to inspire others to protect its beauty and to take action with regards to deforestation, human encroachment on wildlife territories and climate change.
