Spectral Purity

Cotton Candy In A ‘50s Diner
Ever since I moved with my partner to our new flat in Putney I have been constantly treated to two of my favourite things: sunsets and clouds.
Sunsets are more beautiful in winter. Not because we miss the vivid colours of summer, but because the air is drier. The lack of water vapour molecules in the sky helps the light better propagate and allows us to see the brilliant hues unobstructed.
Clouds have always fascinated me with their many shapes, textures and colours. I feel a sense of wonder, excitement and peace when I watch them fly across the sky.
“Spectral Purity” explores winter cloudscapes photographed during sunsets from the confines of our apartment. The exhibition will consist of 8 one-off fine art prints, all printed on Canson Infinity Platine Fibre Rag museum quality paper, finished with bespoke handmade brushed walnut frames and paired with signed ArtSure certificates of authenticity. I thought it would be fitting for the location of the exhibition to match the place where the pieces have been created and so, I am pleased to invite you into our home for an afternoon of art, drinks and snacks.
