Turner's Skies

£300.00

I vividly remember the moment I first saw a Turner painting and how it captivated me. He has always managed to portray the sky in a very natural, yet ethereal manner, with clouds that seem fragile and delicate. I think it all comes down to their texture and layering. When I saw this composition I was instantly transported to that day and I knew I had to press the shutter button. It was even more special to remember that one of my favourite photographers, Galen Rowell, had also been inspired by Turner when he took one of his photographs: Sunrise Over The Skeena River.
